African American Health Program

Black men carry some of the highest levels of unrecognized stress in America. From systemic racism and economic barriers to the pressure of family responsibility and the expectation to appear strong, the weight is constant and often invisible. This stress takes a toll on both mental and physical health, leading to higher risks of hypertension, heart disease, depression, and shortened life expectancy. This “In It to Win It session will feature Ms. Ayo Handy-Kendi who will discuss practical, actionable tools for managing stress and developing emotional resilience.
