Montgomery County, MD — The African American Health Program (AAHP) is proud to announce its 2nd Annual Resource Day: From Resources to Results, taking place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Wheaton Local Park in Silver Spring, MD. This free, public event is designed to connect community members with local organizations, health providers, and essential services, all in one accessible and engaging outdoor setting.
Attendees can expect free health screenings, mental health resources, and direct access to community-based programs focused on wellness, prevention, and support. In addition to valuable information and services, the event will feature music, giveaways, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to engage with local experts committed to improving health outcomes across Montgomery County’s Black community.
AAHP’s Resource Day reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to bridging the gap between information and impact. By removing barriers and bringing resources directly to the community, AAHP continues its mission to eliminate health disparities and empower residents to take control of their health and well-being.
