Alzheimer’s Awareness Summit

Join the AAHP Aging Subcommittee on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Silver Spring Civic Building for “Navigating the Journey,” an Alzheimer’s Awareness Summit focused on “Supporting Families and Caregivers in the Journey of Dementia/Alzheimer’s: 2030 Road Map and Beyond.” This timely and vital event will feature a keynote address by acclaimed author and advocate Marita Golden, co-founder of the Hurston/Wright Foundation. Attendees will engage in interactive workshops, access critical Alzheimer’s and dementia resources, participate in expert-led panel discussions, and benefit from free onsite health screenings provided by Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
