Salute to Caregivers!

November is Family Caregivers Month, a time to honor those who provide day-to-day care to their loved ones affected by aging, chronic illness, disability, or serious injury. To care for someone is to give a part of your life to theirs. Caregivers manage endless tasks to care for their loved one, often while balancing jobs and raising children. This work brings worry, frustration, and exhaustion, but also moments of gratitude for small victories. Caregivers keep their loved ones, families, and communities strong. That’s why AAHP salutes the caregivers among us.

If you’re a caregiver, remember that taking care of yourself matters just as much as caring for others. AAHP’s Self-Care Toolkit, created by the Aging Subcommittee, offers practical tips and resources to help you manage stress and stay healthy.
