Seniors are more vulnerable to severe coronavirus illness and have reported higher levels of anxiety and depression throughout the pandemic. AAHP encourages you to get informed on how seniors can empower themselves with insights on how to navigate their mental health in a post-COVID word. Discussion will include:
- Social Isolation by choice (the new introverts)
- Differentiate normal response to an abnormal situation and red flags for concern
- PTSD, what it is and how it manifests
- Continued/heightened anxiety, depression
- What can the village do
