Breast Care for Washington's MammoVan Offering Mammograms
To help ensure that Black women in Montgomery County have access to life-saving mammograms, AAHP has teamed up with @BreastCareDC to bring their mammovan to the People’s Community Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 6 from 9am - 3pm. Make your appointment for a mammogram by September 25.
To ensure the health and safety of all participants and staff, all appointments will be spaced to allow thorough cleaning between each mammogram.
Eligibility requirements:
Be over the age of 40
Not had a mammogram within the past 12 months
Not currently experiencing any breast pain
Not pregnant or breastfeeding
Before your appointment:
DO bring a valid picture ID and your insurance card
The African American Health Program is funded and administered by the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services and implemented by McFarland & Associates, Inc.
